Barbara Hackett brings a wealth of experience and a remarkable golfing journey to her role as a golf professional. With over 25 years in the golf coaching business, Barbara's mission is to make learning golf simple, enjoyable, and effective for every student. Her roots trace back to Limerick, and she is a life member at Castletroy Golf Club, where her love for the game blossomed.
Barbara's impressive background includes a successful amateur career where she achieved the title of Irish Close Champion and held the leading amateur position in the Ladies British Open.
Her prowess led her to qualify for the Ladies European Tour, solidifying her place in the professional golf world. Today, Barbara leverages her extensive experience to guide golfers of all levels, from beginners taking their first swings to advanced players looking to refine their skills.

Jack Ryan - PGA Professional
Jack Ryan is a passionate and dedicated PGA Professional with a unique blend of experiences that enrich his coaching approach. With close to two decades of playing golf and immersing himself in the world of golf management, Jack is on a mission to help golfers unlock their true potential.
Jack's philosophy revolves around simplifying the golf learning process. In his lessons, he focuses on helping players understand their golf swings in detail, demystifying the mechanics of the game, and empowering his students to troubleshoot and enhance their performance on the course.
Jack's journey has taken him to various corners of the golfing world. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management at UCD and gained hands-on experience at prestigious establishments like the Boca West Country Club in Florida, Adare Manor Golf Resort, and McGuirk's Golf in Tralee, among others.
Currently serving as the Assistant PGA Professional at Castletroy Golf Club, Jack is well-equipped to provide valuable insights and guidance to golfers of all levels.

Tom Murphy - PGA Professional
Tom Murphy started his career as assistant in The Royal Dublin Golf Club. Tom was Irish assistants champion and twice runner-up while serving there. He had been a junior international before turning pro.
After serving his time as an assistant, Tom gained his card on the main European Tour and played throughout Europe as well as the Sunshine tour in South Africa and the mini tour in Florida. In addition, Tom played the domestic Irish tour finishing fifth in the Irish Order of Merit.
After his playing career Tom spent time working for Taiyo International and Marriott International as director of golf at various resorts in Paris France, Kent England, Orlando Florida and Mallorca Spain.
Tom taught at the Marriott Nick Faldo Golf Academy in Orlando Florida and in more recent years in Guangzhou China. This also involved bringing groups from China to California for summer camps. He is a former club professional at Newcastlewest GC and had a golf shop for 10 years at the Castletroy shopping centre.
Tom has extensive experience teaching golf and likes to use video to demonstrate to pupils where there swing is and where he would like it to be. This helps the pupil to see the actual progress he/she is making.

Marian Riordan - PGA Professional
Marian Riordan a PGA Golf professional now based at The Acres Driving Range in Coonagh, Co. Limerick, she brings elite playing experience and a modern, player-focused approach to coaching the game.
Marian had a successful amateur career, representing her country at International level before turning professional in 2007. Marian competed in a number of events on the Ladies European Tour while completing her PGA training.
After qualifying, Marian held the dual role of Golf Operations Manager and Club Professional at Ballykisteen Golf Club for ten years, before continuing in that capacity at Dundrum Golf Club for a further five years.
Marian’s coaching philosophy is client-centred and built around keeping it simple. Real improvement comes from understanding the cause and effect of how the golf swing moves and with TrackMan technology, Marian helps golfers clearly see what is happening in their swing and where simple, manageable adjustments can be made.
Simple adjustments in the swing can have a powerful impact on performance, identifying manageable tweaks that produce real results on the golf course. With years of experience coaching golfers of all ages and abilities, Marian is dedicated to providing clarity, confidence, and practical solutions that translate from the range to better performance on the course.
